Favorite Travel Photos From My Life So Far

Here’s a few of my favorite photos from daring adventures since 2016 through Central and South America. Every photograph has a very unique story behind it. I’ll write a book someday… Until then, a photo is worth a thousand words. My goal is to visit 60 countries in the next 5 years!

2018 was the best year of my life so far! 🎉 I sold my car, left my home with $500 to my name, and bought a one-way plane ticket to Panama City. 🇵🇦 Some people thought I was crazy. Their opinions didn't matter to me. I was going all in! I had a dream to make it all the way to Torres del Paine in Southern Chile! Over 12,000 miles away from my comfort zone in Austin. 🇺🇸 I'm so grateful for all the amazing people who inspired me along the way. Keep being awesome! 😎 Over a year later, I'm living and working in Buenos Aires. My favorite city in South America. 🇦🇷 My next destination is the wine capital of Mendoza to celebrate my 32nd birthday! 🍷 The big vision for next year is to build a profitable online business teaching other aspiring digital nomads how to travel the world on a budget. 💵💸 I want to start helping more people follow their passion, be the boss, and escape the 9-5 rat race! 🐀🚫 You can do anything you set your mind to! 😏 Life is short so you might as well do what you love. ❤️ May all your wishes come true in 2019! ✨ Hit me up if you want to collaborate! 🤝 #chiletravel #chile #patagonia #torresdelpaine #newyear #happynewyear #enjoylife #sonya6000 #sonyalpha #beautiful #roamtheplanet #buenosaires #mendoza #birthday #passionpassport #motivation #inspiration #digitalnomad #adventure #dowhatyoulove #rollingstones #exploremore #influencer #entrepreneur #holpphotography

Hitchhiking Along the Carretera Austral Highway through Patagonia

The highway runs south for about 770 miles from Puerto Montt to Villa O'Higgins through rural Patagonia.

Precocious Little Girl in Chinandega, Nicaragua

The most memorable experience was this beautiful little girl about 8 eight years. She was so precocious, shy, innocent, and had this special glimmer in her eye. Full of potential and living in a third-world country. It made me feel sad for the happenstance ways of the world. Your success in life greatly depends on your origin, family and upbringing. She was helping her mom sell water and food for change on the street. I took a few photos of her and gave her a few Cordobas. It’s easy to complain about not having enough money. Compared to what? It’s all relative. I may not be a rich man, but I’m a good man, and that will always be more important to me. Traveling in Central America these past few months has taught me a lot. I’ve met people from all over the world, experienced different cultures and natural beauty, and discovered my freedom. Travel is the only experience you can buy that makes you richer.

Rio Fortuna Waterfall in Arenal, Costa Rica

I made the spontaneous decision to explore this beautiful country last year and filmed iconic locations along the way. Afterward, I proactively reached out via email to various tourism websites offering my professional services in exchange for travel expenses. Lo and behold, I received an attractive offer from...

"CostaRica.com is the leading travel, relocation, real estate and weather source of information about Costa Rica.  We take you through the journey from preparing for your trip, finding out what you want to see and do in Costa Rica to booking your vacation with reliable operators."

Lightning crashes over Lake Atitlan at Golden Temple in San Marcos

My adventures in Guatemala were excellent preparation for shooting tours in Costa Rica that will certainly lead to paid opportunities down the road. I enthusiastically welcome the challenge with open arms! There's so much to be grateful for in life if you have the right mindset. Good health in body, mind, and spirit is more important than monetary wealth. Do what you love, and the money will follow!

Semuc Champey Natural Monument - The Most Beautiful Waterfall

Once we arrive at the entrance to Semuc Champey, it's a 45-minute steady uphill hike to the waterfall viewpoint. It proves to be an incredible sight to behold. Words can't do it justice; only a photo or video can demonstrate the true beauty without actually being there. I captured the following photos in a few minutes with my Mavic Pro.
