Why I Decided to Extend My Visa in Thailand During Coronavirus

The Coronavirus outbreak is actually an interesting case study for the digital nomad work-lifestyle at the forefront of encouraging others to work remotely or from-home. Tech giants including Amazon, Google, Facebook, and Twitter announced earlier this week, that most of their staff are mandated to work remotely due to the Coronavirus.

Riding Mae Hong Son Loop in Northern Thailand!

Riding Mae Hong Son Loop in Northern Thailand!

I’m excited to announce that starting tomorrow I will be embarking on the Mae Hong Son Loop — a 600km motorbike ride along the Golden Triangle (Chiang Mai-Mae Sariang-Mae Hong Son-Pai-Chiang Mai) in Northern Thailand. Crossing the Border into Myanmar

Crossing the Border into Myanmar

Did you know Thailand is 95% Buddhist? It’s like a different world (more peaceful and enlightened). I think it’s awesome! That’s one of the reasons I’ve decided to stay another 30 days in Thailand. My first meeting at Airbnb's office in Singapore!

My first meeting at Airbnb's office in Singapore!

I’m excited to meet with a recruiter at Airbnb and take a tour of their corporate office in Singapore on January 23rd. This moment has been a long time in the making with lots of personal outreach, lead generation, persistence, and sweat equity. Although I don’t particularly want to live in this expensive metropolis, this will be a great opportunity to finally get my foot in the door at a company at the top of my list of places to work. I’m really interested in a full-time remote marketing or freelance photography position at Airbnb.
