Why I Decided to Extend My Visa in Thailand During Coronavirus
The Coronavirus outbreak is actually an interesting case study for the digital nomad work-lifestyle at the forefront of encouraging others to work remotely or from-home. Tech giants including Amazon, Google, Facebook, and Twitter announced earlier this week, that most of their staff are mandated to work remotely due to the Coronavirus.

I’m currently typing this blog post from my hostel on Koh Lanta, an island off the coast of Krabi, Thailand. I arrived here a few hours ago via speedboat, checked into Hub of Joys Hostel, and immediately walked straight to Long Beach just a stone’s throw away. I’m only 33 years young and often feel like I’m semi-retired even though I have less than $2,000 in my bank account. It’s unnecessary to be a millionaire to fulfill your dreams of traveling the world. I truly believe richness is a state of mind.
