I had the opportunity to photograph First Aid Kit (opening band Jade Bird) for an ACL Late Night Show on October 14th, 2017. They are a talented female folk duo from Stockholm, Sweden. I saw them perform live at Austin City Limits Musical Festival the first weekend, wrote a blog post with my favorite photos (read it here), and reached out to the press contacts afterward. Christina from Sony Music contacted me a few hours before the concert informing me I was on the photo guest list. This was music to my ears! I eagerly showed up over an hour before the doors opened. This was my first time officially shooting for the iconic Stubb's outdoor music venue! I finally met the talented photographer Jim Chapin in the photo pit and a few others shooting for various local media outlets. All the photos below were taken with a Sony A6000 and edited in Lightroom 5. It's not the camera quality that makes the photographer, it's the photographer. Although I want to upgrade soon... Enjoy!
